Sensei Jason

Founder, Owner, and Head Instructor

Sensei Jason Wigham is the founder and operator of Chochin Dojo. He is a dedicated martial artist whose journey in Ninpo Tai-Jutsu spans over three decades.

Sensei Jason began his study of Ninpo in 1994. After years of intense dedication and perseverance, he achieved the rank of 3rd Level Certified Instructor (Okuden Menkyo) in the Ten Chi Wa Bujuitsukan in 2016. This is a profound achievement, as he is one of only a handful of certified instructors worldwide to reach this advanced level.

As our Head Instructor, Sensei Jason oversees all instructors and training programs, both the adult and junior classes.

More than just an instructor, Sensei Jason is a husband and father of two sons. He has built the foundation of Chochin Dojo on a deep feeling of family and a commitment to embrace the community. Sensei Jason prioritizes creating a welcoming and inclusive family atmosphere where every student, regardless of skill level or life path feels supported and valued.

Sensei Jason is committed to the principle of constant growth. To deepen his knowledge and ensure Chochin Dojo stays true to its roots and maintains the highest standards of instruction, he makes frequent trips to Louisiana to study directly under Kancho Chadwick Minge, the founder of our governing organization, the Ten Chi Bujutsukan.
